Jenna often reminds students in various ways that the greatest tool for this practice is practice itself. This teaching has given access to the deepest most alive place inside of her. From here yoga has taken root as bottomless love. The path or journey of yoga is not something that anyone can give you, you must take the steps yourself, and be guided and supported by teachers and community.
After nearly 15 years and thousands of hours of committed practice and study, Jenna’s goal is to share with others the living wisdom of yoga, where the discovery to true nourishment is provided. When she was a young girl, her mother introduced her to yoga and this great path of self-discovery began. Through the many changes that life brings each day, the two tools which deliver unwavering strength to keep her grounded, are the breath and her own heart-derived intention.
As a graduate from the Mount Madonna Institute, Jenna has completed nearly four years of intensive study making her a Certified Ayurvedic Practictioner through NAMA, the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. She has recently completed research and compilation of thesis, which can be found at the Mount Madonna Center Library. Her coursework has earned her Master of Arts in Ayurveda. With her core teachers, Janet Stone, Hareesh Wallis and Jody Greene, she has traveled the world and has been shown the true meaning of studentship. For many years she has been blessed by their presence and continues as often as possible to spend time learning from and offering support towards them.
“I felt deeply thankful and privileged for the quality of each instructor within this program. Their depth of knowledge and years of experience were such a valuable resource.” –Sarah-Jane, 28
